Since joining the Sensorimotor Research Group in March of 2010, Lauren has been actively involved in several projects including the training of laboratory primates, the recording of neural activity in primates, and the preparation of primate brain histology images. Following her undergraduate studies, she plans to pursue a graduate biology degree with emphasis on sociobiology and neurobiology. Ultimately, she intends to conduct research on the evolution of neural mechanisms involved in the control of social behavior. Link to the related research pages: Basal Ganglia Research Page. |
